I have been wondering about relationships and how they happen so quickly. You meet a girl, start small talk and enjoy the simple things you both want. Then you fall for her and decide to take things easy, simple, and slow, not to ruin anything. Then a guy out of nowhere swoops in and grabs the girl. It is mind-boggling that what you have been building up to for days or weeks has been shattered in less time.

The things they did, like dates and outdoor activities, are what you planned for a while and had difficulty bringing up, considering you may be rejected and ruin the friendship. But not anymore.

Now you listen to me, young man. If you want that girl:

  1. Go for her.
  2. Test the ground, see what may capture her attention, and retain it on you.
  3. Shoot your shot. If it fails, you move on, forget her, leave her, and break ties.

If it goes through, then you are in luck.

It may be simple, but not easy. Being confident in yourself and meeting your desires before the girl’s desires guides her into your domain.

I am learning small talk to communicate my needs quickly and efficiently without beating around the bush. Small talk does help anyone in any situation.

In the end, I am trying to say that, for my birthday this year, I don’t know what to spend time with a friend and then later at night all alone; I want to cuddle with her and have her body warm with me. We can watch a movie, eat late-night snacks, critique a film, and say weird stuff.

That is why I’m not too fond of rom-com. I will watch it, but I will not like it. I would rather watch a cartoon or anime, or documentary. Why? Well, because the city girl always returns to the suburbs and settles down with her high school sweetheart or college boyfriend, he left to pursue her dreams.

But that is not how it works in the real world. I have been rejected as a friend by a girl. Not boyfriend, or situations or anything, as a friend. Women out here a more focused on getting that dream job. Some end up in toxic relationships, and where does the calm guy or good guy? They are heartbroken and decide to become ruthless to the next girl they meet. It is sad and makes the women hate to make because of one guy.

Do you get where I am going with this? But with anime, you know it’s a lie, and you let it slide without thinking of making the moves that the cartoons are. For a rom-com, you think of going on a date, changing your appearance, testing your newfound partner to see if they are loyal, pretend to be someone else to see if they will cheat. You try to destroy the simple trust that you built together.

But there are good stories out there of how couples ended up together. Some met each other at the highlight of their life others built each other from the ground up. I would like that to create her and her build me. We are doing things together, raising a family, going to new places trying new jobs if not satisfied, making a car, or playing a game as a partner. Ultimately, I want to settle down and build a future, and when feeling down, we both know we have each other and support one another.

As for my gaming life, I have met a new player and am in second place on my friend list as a legendary player. In the world rank, I am top 4000 out of a million players. Thank you for reading, and hey, share this with your friends. Let them know of this blog. Have a lovely week.
