First, I apologize for it seems that my ambition of writing twice a week was too much for this former lazy bum. I say former because I have received an almighty push. A lot has happened since I last wrote, and I will fill you in with all the details.

So, first things first, I went out with some buddies of mine, to a nightclub. The experience was out of this world for me. I am not praising it and am not saying it was bad. The conclusion I ended up with that night was that I wouldn’t like to date a girl who goes to clubs. It is not a deal breaker for me more like a yellow flag, precaution should be adhered there. Clubs are fun, you meet new people, dance your heart out, drink to your fullest, and then have a hangover the following morning.

I didn’t drink because I am always the designated driver, and things are fun when you remember them the following day. There were so many b-e-a-utiful girls at the club. I was bothered by one thought: if she is here for fun, what can I do to impress her when other guys in the club probably are her type and are not? That is why I don’t like going to clubs. I was mentally drained that night. Just the concept of meeting and seeing a bunch of people simultaneously.

Another thing that is most significant to our blog is that I met someone and got rejected. I wasn’t sad but happy. Her letdown was more of “You are cute, but you have to try more.” So, I was doing some shopping and was lost trying to look for balloons. I asked one of the attendants close by and well the results were terrible. So, I kept looking around and then an angel from heaven flew in to rescue me from the ordeal of aimlessly looking around. She asked if there was anything I would like to be helped with and yes there was. She showed me the first item and asked if there is any other, I was looking for.

Her body language was inviting for small talk, but as modern-day society expects us men to do, act as if not interested. So, I obliged the norms and finished up with the agenda, and headed out. I was recalling that moment over and over and said that I would rather be rejected but not ask and say to myself that she was pretty and did nothing. Now, this is the plan, I know she works on Monday, so next week Monday, am going to buy some balloons again and try to have an introduction.

Maybe the big reason why I was rejected was because I failed to introduce myself. In my defense, she was pretty, and I was in shock at the beauty. I had to muster up a lot of courage just to go back and ask her. Laugh all you want but this was new for me. I am growing. Next, we’ll see if we could be a couple. I am willing to take my time with her. Be it a week or a month, I won’t rush things and I won’t act desperate. This year, on my birthday, I will not celebrate it alone.

Other things are in progress and will be reported soon. For now, let us focus on me getting my first-ever girlfriend in the USA. Pray for me guys and be sure to share this blog and write back to me with some tips you think I should try out as I ask her out for a date. Ladies, what are the things to look out for as signs of progress, degrees, or even no move at all? We are going to turn this single guy into a boyfriend. See you later.
