A criminal declared not guilty doesn’t mean that they didn’t do it, it just means the attorney convinced the jury otherwise. That should have been the introduction of the book I read recently. Yes, a book called The Fifth Witness by someone, I’ll check it later and tell you. I don’t want to spoil the ending because the twist is not what you’d expect.
Anyway, the purpose of writing is to update you on my lifestyle here in the United States of America. So much has changed and happened since my last article. I have gone swimming, got a good close friend, travelled to California and, so much more. Well, let’s start with the end of last year.
On September 20, 2022, I put in my two-week notice of quitting the workplace I was stationed at in life. I just celebrated my birthday and went to a small gathering with friends at Applebee’s Restaurant. It was a good evening shared a lot of laughter and memories with my sister and friends: Joseph, Allan and me. I enjoyed a drink and went back home; thank goodness the following day was my off day. I set my mind to venture into a new lifestyle which I am currently living and, have no regrets about it.
In October of 2022, I set off back to my grandma’s home and settled a feud we had. It was resolved and I moved back in with my sister. Then she dropped the big news of her moving out and living off in her apartment. We were to do it together, but she spoke too soon, and I have left alone with grandma and some nights with the small cousin.
I started working on a one-on-one client basis kind of work. At the first client’s house, I was really confused and had nothing to do other than sit and wait for the evening to help the wife put the husband to bed and early in the morning to put him in his wheelchair. I had nothing to do all day and made me fill guilty, but now it’s all right. I understand the concept of the work. I had different clients to work for and at some point, I thought of myself as a butler. In my defense, I did wish for it when I was young.
On Tuesday I got to a client who was once a great chef in Seattle now he just read books and cooks for himself. Another thing that has changed in my life is that, as I mentioned earlier, I went to California. This time I did not go alone and best of all we travelled late at night till five in the morning. Our journey started at 8 pm going through Oregon State in the idle of the night and passing cops. It was fun, especially with the idea of me driving for ten hours straight with a few fueling breaks. I love driving and driving for long hours to new places.
Another long drive I had was with my home country Bishop. It was a good fellowship for 5 hours going and 5 hours coming back. I drove a v8 Toyota Sequoia. It is the strongest engine I have ever driven in my life and on the way, we got pulled over by the State Patrol. He was friendly and got us free with a warning. I was terrified at first, but all is well. So back to Cali, I went there on Feb 12th with the intention of a date with a cute girl I had met 6 months ago.
I know right, I met her 6 months ago and am back in Cali just before Valentine’s Day. That must mean something right? Well, it meant that I was not going to see her then. My homies were disappointed and angry with what happened while I was contemplating what I wanted. Well, the conclusion was that I should move on and find someone else. But my feelings were still confusing, so I let that ship sail till I figure want I wanted.
I got over it, I think. I have found so many things here and I am kind of a pro in Call of Duty Mobile, so if you want to play with a professional, I may be a starter for you. Well, I have come to the end of my short blog. I don’t have much to say. Here are a few jokes I like to tell, when a cow smokes weed, the steaks are high, What is reverse exorcism? It’s when the devil tells the priest to get off the boy. And finally, make hay when the sun still shines. Until next time.
