Let it be known on the blog that adulting is not what we thought it would be. Did the movies lie to use from the beginning? YES!! Did the adult that helped us grow in life give us heads-up? well, it depends on the relationships you have. Was it beneficial from the beginning of just fun and games? What point am I driving towards? Well, I will shout it out from the bottom of my keyboard to you, ADULTING IS WUEH!!!!

yes, WUEH!!! When I was young, I wanted to be an engineer and everyone commended me for working toward that dream. I didn’t know the different kinds of engineering but as time passed by I found my passion and love. Now, I have to make tough choices about pausing my dream so that I can afford the dream. I still want to be an engineer, a computer engineer and improve that which I have found lacking at home.

then there is the matter of body transformation and modification and getting some hormones that make you crave lust. believe me when I say every young person has that high drive, but the ambitions and goals they have in life are what is keeping them in check and try, lemme emphasize that, TRY, to not give in the comfort.

comfort is a dangerous thing, sweet but dangerous, a rabbit hold that you don’t want to get into when you are young or even old. A wise friend challenged me into reaching greater heights. Well, most of them do that but you can get it from all of them. The thing is that adulting needs to be rechecked and taught to the young ones and given the necessary skills to tackle challenges. Problem-solving skills should be taught throughout school life that way when they go to college and get into working and all that stuff, they may not be overwhelmed with the mental pressure.

Suicide is the leading cause of death in the youth community and it saddens my heart to hear, read or see that matter reach the younger kids. hearing a 13 – 15-year-old commit suicide is very sad. I don’t want my kids to grow up and get to a point and think that death is the solution. I want them to work hard and enjoy the fruits of their labour. Be proud of what they have accomplished in their journey.

Come on guys, let’s help each other and not end u being negative statistics on the world records. Reach out to buddies and make sure they are alright and if willing, you can help them out, even if it’s just listening to them. Sometimes, they don’t want solutions, they want a shoulder to lean on and remember that they are not alone in the world and we are there for each other. As I said in the beginning, ADULTING IS WUEH!!!
