When i was a child, I always wanted to become a scientist. I began doing crazy mixtures of chemicals, hope full to get a precise and right result that will change my life . I could go outside, pick up leaves of bushes, squeeze to get their juices and mix with other juices from fruits.
Well, the end results were not good looking, later I quit having a dream of being a chemist. At the young age I didn’t know that that was their general name. So I looked for another passion and became obsessed with engineering. Anything to do with screws and screwdrivers and motion, anything , I was interested in them. I could open electronics like DVDs, toy cars, remote and even sometimes the television. I used to do it when my parents weren’t around so that I couldn’t be denied the chance. Whenever the tv didnt work I would first check to see if I’ll fix yet I had no idea of how it worked. When my father came in the evening I would present the problem like”Dad the tv aint working.” Then I would ask if he would open to check it. If he did, I would just sink in jo.
Soon the obsession dimmed and up to now I I love opening things up to see the enginuity. Soon I realized my passion. It was electronics and softwares. I remember the first time i downloaded games by myself not to brag, but it was a great achievement for me. My passion for computers and phones is very visible. The thing that makes me happy is to understand and learn how a computer works, its properties and capabilities. Games are the other things that makes me so obsessed with phones.
If I began talking about them, I’d probably take at least a week to calm down from the joy of educating someone else about a certain gadget. That’s why my dream is to pursue anything that’s related to a computer. Be it graphic design, video editing, animation, programming and many more.
That’s why today i want to tell you, make your passion become your profession. If you are a comedy movie lover, you may have watch a movie called “3 IDIOTS” which is a Hindi movie. If you have not watched it I recommend you watching it like now. In this movie the main character, “Rancho” teaches his best friends, Farhan and Rastogi to pursue their passion. It took them four years to realize what he ment. His passion was learnig, Farhan was photography and Rastogi .well. i can’t remember but it was not engineering. Then there was another character called Chatur who did not believe I this ideal. So Chatur placed a bet to see who will succeed by far. Well Chartur got rich, but Rancho was even more wealthy. Take note that I’ve made the two words bold.
Rnacho became wealthy because he followed his passion and hard work while Chatur became rich because of hard work. When you follow your passion, Life becomes interesting.
Another example in the second femal president of the Association of Architecture in Kenya, Mugure Njendu. It was her passion to become a practical architecture and so she studied and worked hard. If you Google her, she will have a title due to her passion and determination. She has the statistics of architecture in head head for the love that she has for that line of work.
There are countless of people who have made it in life due to their passion. So today am here to humble ask you. “What is your passion? Are you in love with what you are doing? If not why are you not following it?“ Just look for what you love and start working on it and you’ll see wonders happening. Live the life you love and love the life you live.
